Clinic Information

Is your teenager looking for some extra cash this summer. Come umpire at Channahon Baseball. We are growing rapidly which means more games, which means more opportunities for umpires! Come out and get the training you need to umpire games at Channahon Baseball.

WHEN

We are offering (2) dates to come out and get the training you need. Sunday March 9th and Sunday March 16th. Clinics will run from 10:30am - 12:00pm both sessions. Only need to attend one.

AGES

Must be 12 years old by April 30, 2025

Please note 12 year old umpires will only be eligible to umpire the field until they turn 13 years old. Once they turn 13 they are then eligible to umpire behind the plate.

2025 Season Umpires Clinic

Calling all teenagers looking to make some extra cash! Channahon Baseball will hold a FREE umpire clinic! Must be 12 years old by April 30, 2025. Please note 12 year old umpires will only be eligible to umpire the field until they turn 13 years old. Once they turn 13 they are eligible to umpire behind the plate.

Our clinic will go over the basics of umpiring games with a focus on Channahon Baseball. Key items that will be covered are positioning, call making, pony and house rules, umpire equipment and tips of the trade.

We will hold (2) separate clinics on March 9th or March 16th. You only need to attend one. Both dates will be held at Minooka South Highschool Campus. Please enter through door #20 on the West side of the building.
